Budget Planning Workshops Starting September 2025

We're running a series of hands-on sessions for people who want to get better at managing their money. No fancy jargon—just practical methods that actually work.

Sessions begin September 2025 through February 2026

What's Coming Up

Each course runs for six weeks. You'll meet once a week, work through real budgeting scenarios, and leave with a system you can actually use.

Zero-Based Budget Basics

September 15 – October 20, 2025

This one's about making every peso count. You'll learn how to assign jobs to your money before the month starts and adjust when things don't go according to plan.

Envelope Method for Digital Banking

October 28 – December 2, 2025

Most of us don't carry cash anymore. This course adapts the envelope system for bank apps and digital wallets—keeping the discipline without the paper.

50/30/20 Rule and Variations

6 weeks • Mondays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Ignacio Ferrero teaching budget allocation methods

Who's Teaching This

Ignacio Ferrero has been teaching budget allocation for about eight years now. He started doing this after spending too many years watching people (including himself) make the same money mistakes over and over.

He's worked with over 300 individuals and families in Santa Fe, helping them sort out their finances without making them feel terrible about past decisions.

Before this, he spent a decade in corporate finance—which taught him what NOT to do when explaining money concepts to regular people.

His approach is straightforward: no shame, no complexity, just systems that fit into your actual life.

What You'll Actually Learn

These aren't lectures where you sit and take notes for two hours. You'll spend most of the time working with your own numbers—building a budget that reflects your real income and expenses.

By the end of six weeks, you should have a system you can maintain without needing a spreadsheet degree. And hopefully, you'll feel less anxious about money in general.

  • Setting up categories that make sense for your spending patterns
  • Dealing with irregular income (freelancers, we see you)
  • Building an emergency fund without starving yourself
  • Adjusting your budget when life throws you surprises
  • Tracking expenses without losing your mind
  • Making decisions about debt repayment vs. saving

You'll also get access to templates and tools that work with common banking apps used in Argentina. Nothing fancy—just practical resources you can actually use.
